2013 will mark Giuseppe Verdi’s 200th birthday, and what better way to celebrate than with this playlist of some of our favorite selections. Enjoy performances from Dmitri Hvorostovsky & Sondra Radvanovsky, as well as the Chicago Symphony Chorus.  If this doesn’t meet your need for a Verdi fix, there is also the new Tutto Verdi Project from C Major, which includes the 26 complete operas on DVD or Blu-ray.

Happy listening!

Frank Vignola is one of the most sought after, innovative, and entertaining guitarists of our day. His stunning virtuosity has made him the guitarist of choice for many of the world’s top musicians, including Ringo Starr, Madonna, Donald Fagen, Wynton Marsalis, Tommy Emmanuel, the Boston Pops, the New York Pops, and guitar legend Les Paul.

In addition to 100 years of Django, he has a brand new album, Melody Magic, with fellow guitar hero Vinny Raniolo — available now from iTunes: http://bit.ly/Wsg34I
